Yellow Iron Parts Exchange is a self-service marketplace connecting buyers and sellers of used and salvage heavy equipment parts across North America. Sellers list machines and check off available parts. Buyers browse, inquire, and get introduced. No brokers, no middlemen.
The difference is what happens at payment. In an industry where "call and pray" has been the standard, we hold funds in escrow until you confirm the part works. If it doesn't, it goes back and you get refunded. That's a promise no classifieds board or auction site makes.
How Payment Works
30-Day Inspection Window
Buyer Pays
Funds are collected and held by Yellow Iron, and not released to the seller until the inspection window closes.
Part Ships
Seller ships the part. Buyer has 30 days after delivery to inspect and confirm it works as described.
Funds Release
Buyer confirms → seller gets paid. Buyer disputes → part returns, buyer gets refunded. No arguments. No risk.
